How I make this unicorn horn

This video is how I make a unicorn horn. I start with gluing together 4 pieces of Lime or Basswood then I take it to the lathe and turn a cone. Whilst it is still on the lathe I mark out the spiral making each turn diminish so the base is wider than the tip. I use a guitar fretboard to measure this out.
After marking out I make a shallow cut along this line then using a chisel I cut at an angle about 10mm away from this line to the bottom of the saw cut. Making use of the step i use a sanding stick to round of where I have cut. Then I chisel the other side of the line and round off with the sanding stick. This is the shape of the horn all I need to do now is sand to 240 grit...which take about two evenings.
