Boyds At-One Stock Review: The Modular, Adjustable Stock that Fits a Tight Budget

Описание к видео Boyds At-One Stock Review: The Modular, Adjustable Stock that Fits a Tight Budget

I’m amazed that a sportsman can buy this much flexibility and comfort for so little money. The Boyds At-One stock purports to handle all kinds of use: prone, bench, and offhand. Can it handle all these situations?

Check out this video of our recent test of the Boyds At-One. We shot a moving target from 100 yards to 600 yards from standing, sitting, and prone positions:    • Boyds At-One Stock & Falcon S8i: .308...

In these initial tests, the Boyds laminate stock handled different scenarios with ease. Owners can quickly adjust the cheek riser and buttpad to fit their individual dimensions. This means that a an aftermarket At-One can quickly reconfigure to fit any one of your family members or friends. It also means that you don't have to contort your body to get your eye behind the scope when you swing up to take a cold shot.

The At-One ships with hunter-style pistol grip panels and a slim forearm. If you plan on firing from a bench or in the prone position, I recommend that you buy a pair of the more vertical target grips. Boyds shaped them to include more palm swell, and in testing we found that the more vertical angle did its job of relieving tension in the user's hand, wrist, and forearm. Other optional parts for the replacement stock include an overmolded rubber beavertail forearm panel, a Picatinny monopod panel for the bottom, and two specialized buttpad extensions. The first can extend length-of-pull to a whopping 15.5", and the second can be adjusted vertically to better adapt to prone work.

Don't just take my word for it! Listen to what two of my guest testers said about the At-One afterward.

Many thanks to guest testers Corey, Dallas, Jesse, and Kedrick, and thanks again to Patrons of the Destructive Arts! If you would like to help us produce more review videos like this, just a buck a month can go a long way!   / thesocialregressive
