Please note: This press no longer has the recess on the upper platen for the clamp foot to go in. It's really not needed for the function of this press.
This handmade paperpress is made from waterproof baltic plywood and covered with a waterproof high pressure plastic laminate covering (often used on counter tops in kitchens and doctor's offices). It can also be used as a bookpress. Not many small paperpresses are available and none laminated with water proof materials.
