Footage capturing just some of the sights and sounds of the New York City marathon 2022, from a (wave 5) runner's perspective.

This was my first marathon attempt - an attempt to complete the world's largest marathon event (on what turned out to be one of the most humid November days in NY history), to mark my 50th birthday.

Also my first attempt at more complex video editing (which may or may not be obvious!). I have tried to include as much of the original sound as possible, supplemented in places by music courtesy of www.bensound.com.
