The churn dash block is a traditional block which is used in many quilt patterns and can look very different depending on the colors used in the patches. Sara talks about what to look for when choosing fabrics and the types of units used within the blocks. She then shows how to sew each of the units together, how to show the units into rows, and how to sew the rows together for the finished block. Plus, see how different color placement can result in a Greek cross block with the same patches sewn in the same manner as for the churn dash block.
