Mike Payne is an American guitarist and session musician currently living in Nashville, TN. Mike grew up in Rockford, IL where he learned to play guitar largely by serving on worship teams in the local church. In 1998 Mike moved to Nashville, TN where he attended Belmont University to study commercial music and music business. Mike has over 20 years of experience working with artists such as Lauren Daigle, Francesca Battistelli, Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Passion, Christy Nockels, Brandon Heath, Meredith Andrews, Natalie Grant, Sidewalk Prophets, I Am They, Mandisa, and Toby Mac.

HW is an Youtuber and maker of some sweet digital guitar tones. You may have seen him on Tone Junkie TV, where he is on a quest to #profiletheworld. Users the Kemper will know him as a floral sporting kemper profile, impulse response and Helix preset wizard. HW moved from San Francisco, Ca to Franklin, Tennessee in 2016. He has shared computer screens with Mike and anyone else you have up in another browser tab.
