മഴക്കാലം വന്നെത്തി. കുളങ്ങളും കിണറുകളും നിറയാൻ തുടങ്ങി. മണ്ണിൽ പുതുജീവന്റെ തുടിപ്പുകൾ ഉയർന്നു തുടങ്ങി. ഇതോടൊപ്പം ഞങ്ങളും തിരുവാതിര ഞാറ്റുവേലയോടനുബന്ധിച്ച കൃഷിയിലേക്ക്...കപ്പ,ചേന, മഞ്ഞൾ, ഇഞ്ചി തുടങ്ങിയവ.വരുന്ന കാലങ്ങളെ സമൃദ്ധമാക്കാനും പുതിയൊരു ഓണക്കാലത്തേക്കു തയ്യാറാകാനും ഞങ്ങളൊരുങ്ങുകയാണ്. എല്ലാവർക്കും സമൃദ്ധപൂർണ്ണമായ ദിവസങ്ങൾ നേരുന്നു.

Monsoon Is Here..We Are Busy With Farming - Spending time with nature gives immense pleasure

Monsoon has arrived. Ponds and wells are getting filled with water, frogs start making music with the rhythm of rain, all canals and lakes are getting enriched with rain water. Along with nature, we too started our activities for welcoming monsoon.
Our activities start with sprouting chilli seeds, pruning branches, planting trees, elephant foot yam,sweet potato and turmeric.
Starting of monsoon is the best season for planting trees, many of vegetables such as ginger, turmeric, tapioca etc.Plants and trees will grow quickly in the mid of June (“Thiruvathira Njattuvela”).In Kerala, farming starts after Vishu and this will last upto September- October and all items will be ready for harvesting at the time of Onam, the harvest festival. Anyway we started our journey with monsoon. We travel along with rain and will reach the colorful destination “ONAM”.. Enjoy this Monsoon..
