Sleeping In The Largest Canyon in The World - Santander, Colombia

After meeting these people a day prior I had been invited to go on a 2 day hike through the second-largest canyon in the world. Of course, I had to say yes because I love hiking and who wouldn't want to do something like this. So we left a day prior to arrive in a small town just outside San Gil which we explored and stayed the night there. With a 6am rise, we started our walk to the first of 3 cities we were going to be passing. After almost 36,000 steps we had finally made it to the eco-lodge where we were staying. It had to be the best view out of any place I've stayed on my travel. Well maybe not on the volcano in Guatemala but it's still up there.
