How to Download and Install Xilinx ISE Design Suite on Windows 10 & 11 (Step-by-Step Guide)

Steps to Resolve the ISE Auto-Closing Issue on Windows 10:

Note: These instructions assume you have installed ISE on the C drive. If it's installed elsewhere, adjust the file paths accordingly.

1- Go to the following directory:
C:\Xilinx\14.7\ISE_DS\ISE\lib\nt64
2- Rename the libPortability.dll file to libPortability.dll.orig
3- Make a copy of libPortabilityNOSH.dll and rename the copy to libPortability.dll
4- Go to the following directory:
C:\Xilinx\14.7\ISE_DS\common\lib\nt64
5- Copy libPortabilityNOSH.dll from the folder in step 1 to this folder.
6- Rename the original libPortability.dll in this folder to libPortability.dll.orig
7- Rename the libPortabilityNOSH.dll file in this folder to libPortability.dll
