Here by the fire in the Amazon, I captured this little video right before our nighttime kambo session receiving straight off the frog with our indigenous teachers. We continuously show up with no agenda but to learn from them, to make amends for the wrongdoing/exploitation/colonization from previous western visitors, and to build trust. 🤝

Wow wow wow that this shape above the fire is the same shape as the frog is put in to when we harvest the secretion. With the tribe sitting on the left and us on the right, this froggy spirit bridged us in the middle above the sacred fire. It was there for our whole session until we all went to bed. 🤮🌌

This time was also the first time I really found my Kambo family - practitioners in integrity, with high reverence for the medicine, doing their work, grounded, centered, no drama, no defenses, no spiritual puppies, just wildly amazing and down-to-earth humans. What a breath of fresh air in the Kambo world. 🌬️

I’m leaving today to return to my teachers, to continue building trust, learning, listening, supporting them and visiting the froggies during rainy season. I am blessed and humbled beyond words to bow at the altar (fire) of this medicine. 🐸
