THIS IS THE PERFECT HOI4 COUNTRY! HOW EVERY NATION SHOULD BE DESIGNED! - HOI4 Kaiserreich

Thomas "Ichigo" Kay is a well known connoisseur in the Hearts of Iron 4 department.
This man has been searching for the recipe to the perfect HOI4 country for years and ages now and it seems that we might have something here.
How do you make a good and fun country in this game? Well according to Dommy's "The Art of HOI4" (written in 1836) it obviously has to have a good focus tree, it has to be able to expand but not too easily, it has to have a fun story to engage the player and to have enough resources where it can specialize in something. Naturally there's more to it besides that but that's about the gist of it.
Now with these things in mind, think of Germany in vanilla. Is it a good country? Most would say yes, it has a really fun game with a fun focus tree and it gets to do stuff early. There's pretty much always some kind of combat through volunteers and later WW2. Has plenty of resources to do stuff as well. Japan, as well as China, have a super fun early game filled with content and war.
Meanwhile the USA gets to scale to become a powerhouse later or go some alternate path. We could go on and on about this, so I definitely recommend reading Ichigo Kay's book on this interesting topic.
What concerns us now is this country called League of 8 Provinces in Kaiserreich. Stationed in the southern part of China, this country might be one of the best designs our connoisseur has seen in a while. With a robust focus tree, multiple options to switch countries as well as paths to go down and a fun story line. This China might be a contender for the TK Awards during the annual award show (what am I even writing anymore, what is wrong with me).
