This week, we are joined by Dr. Naima Bhana Lopez, an assistant professor of special education and BCBA-D at Niagara University in New York. Dr. Lopez specializes in enhancing social-communication opportunities for children with developmental disabilities. Her work also explores diversity and equity in special education, empowering natural communication partners to improve outcomes for diverse students and families.
