Elfin Forest Recreational Area: The Way Up Trail

The trails are well-maintained, well-signposted, and easy to follow. Beautiful flora and fauna, nice view. This trail is easy to moderately hike, but not a long hike, has loose rocks and uneven surfaces, recommend to use appropriate hiking shows or boots Once at the top of Way Up you can see the Lake Hodges.
There are bathrooms at the bottom of the hike and bathrooms at the top of the hike. There is water fountain, benches, picnic tables, water stations, and clean porta-potties

Before entering the trail you'll see the Escondido Creek

Parking: There is a nice sized parking lot at the Interpretive Center just before the trail entrance.
