How To Make The Hurricane cocktail

Today I show you how to make the Hurricane Cocktail. this is classic New Orleans in a glass. the Hurricane was invented in the 1940's by Pat O'Brien. This cocktail caught on rally well and continues to be a mainstay where it was created.

HURRICANE

INGREDIENTS

.5 of a Passion Fruit
.5 oz/15 ml Simple Syrup
1 oz/30 ml Lime Juice
1 oz/300 ml Orange Juice
.5 oz/15 ml Grenadine
2 oz/60 ml White Rum
2 oz/60 ml Dark Rum


Method

1. Add all ingredients into the shaker glass.
2. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
3. Strain into a Hurricane Glass over crushed ice.
4. Garnish With an Orange wheel and a Maraschino Cherry.
