Instructions:
What you need: common objects/toys/pictures at home
What you do: Hold up or gesture to an object.
What you say: Provide a vocal model by stating the name of the object and have your child repeat, or echo, the name. Repeat 3-5 times for each type of object. Then, ask your child to say the name of each item on his own.
Correct=reinforcement (praise, hugs, high 5- no edibles!)
Incorrect/no response=correction (say the name of the object and have your child repeat)
