On our second episode, we sat down with Queen Gabriella Katungi, Uganda’s Little Miss Tourism.

Born 11 years ago and now in Primary Seven, Queen Gabriella Katungi is a young, intelligent, hardworking, focused and compassionate girl with very big dreams and aspirations.

She took part in the 2021/2022 Little Miss Tourism Pageant and emerged as the overall winner, beating off tight competition for several other equally talented young contestants.

Since then, Queen Gabriella Katungi has never looked back as she continues to pursue her education but also initiate projects to transform Uganda’s Tourism Industry and lives of Young people.

One of her flagship projects is ‘Explore The Pearl With Queen Gabby’, wherein she has already initiated 15 tourism clubs in different primary schools in Uganda.

In December, 2022, she also launched the Life and Life campaign in Kalangala District - Ssese Islands. This campaign aims at giving hope to young people affected by HIV/AIDs. The campaign encourages them to live their lives normally, take their medication and freely pursue their dreams.
