I’m trying a little something new with today’s message. This is a re-recording of our most popular message, which we posted to the channel about a year ago. But this time, the reading will be in what I’m calling “homiletic style,” which means instead of reading the sermon in my normal speaking voice, here I am reading it with a speaking style one would typically expect from a preacher. Thus, you can expect to hear more passion and emotion in the reading (without going over the top). Also I added just a touch of reverberation to the audio, which is to simulate the sound of being in a large chapel. Let me know what you think!
As for the message itself, it’s a powerful sermon on some of the most famous words in all of the Bible: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). Spurgeon vividly describes Christ’s role as the Shepherd of His sheep, and all the blessings this entails for us as believers. I hope you’re blessed by this wonderful message!

Psalm 23 (Full Chapter, KJV)
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
