An adventure in Lake Titicaca, the highest (commercially navigable) lake in the WORLD! Discover the amazing places in this magical lake, from the traditional floating islands of Los Uros to the tranquil and sacred island of Amantaní. Beware of sunburn during the day and hypothermia at night!

Useful information:
-The city of Puno is the gateway to Lake Titicaca.
-From the port of Puno, you can get various excursions to the lake, either only to Los Uros or in combination with Amantaní or Taquile island. Come early (7 am or earlier) and book your trip. Alternatively, you can pre-book through your accommodation or one of the travel agencies.
-You can also stay in one of the floating islands that has been converted to a lodging.
-There are many interesting archeological sites scattered around the lake shore that we did not get the chance to visit. Ask your accommodation or agencies for visiting possibilities.
