Nicotine vaping was not the cause of EVALI in the United States

Описание к видео Nicotine vaping was not the cause of EVALI in the United States

Our recent paper confirms that nicotine vaping does not cause the serious lung condition, EVALI. EVALI was caused by vaping black market THC (cannabis) oils contaminated with vitamin E acetate (VEA).
VEA does not mix with nicotine e-liquids
There is no chemical in nicotine e-liquid shown to cause EVALI
Cases of EVALI disappeared in early 2020 when VEA was eliminated from the illicit THC supply chain
Some vapers denied using illicit THC but had actually done so
Some supposed cases of EVALI in nicotine vapers were misdiagnosed
