RS Conversions by Woody Thomas takes the Brian May BMG guitar and upgrades the scratch plate to a more accurate and highly polished plate complete with pick up surrounds.

The most notable upgrade is the change from the Wilkinson tremolo to the roller bridge trem which is more in keeping with the original Red Special Guitar

Converting a BMG guitar to be like Brian May's Red Special is a complex process and requires a lot of customization. Here are some general steps you can take:

1. Choose the appropriate BMG guitar model

The BMG Special, BMG Super, and BMG Junior guitars are all modeled after the Red Special and have similar features. However, the BMG Special is the most similar in terms of design and hardware.

2. Replace the pickups

The Red Special is known for its unique sound, which is due in large part to its custom tri-sonic pickups. To replicate this sound, you'll need to install a set of tri-sonic pickups in your BMG guitar or have a custom set made.

3. Modify the wiring

4. Add a phase switch
