Royston, Georgia is the classic home of the greatest hitter in major league baseball history. Tyrus Raymond Cobb. 1886-1963. In this video you will see the museum dedicated in his honor which has souvenirs, artifacts, historical items, a 12 minute movie, and all kinds of other wonderful things. Also, the town features the beautiful bronze statue which was once outside Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. The Royston library. Also I got to visit his gravesite and the crypt at the Rose Hill cemetery where he and his family are buried. I finished the video by visiting the place of his birth. The Narrows , which is in Banks County, Georgia. This was also the location of a civil war fight in 1864.
