I wanted to simplify the workflow for generating depth maps and 6DoF color-on-top-depth-on-bottom images from stereo 360 pictures, so I wrote a Python script using OpenCV. This video shows you how to install OpenCV, and get the script running. Here's what you need:

Python - http://python.org/downloads/
OpenCV with Contrib
NumPy
PIP (for installing OpenCV and NumPy) - https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py
Pseudoscience Stereo2Depth - (updated version works slightly different than in video)
