Coffee Culture in the US vs the Netherlands

Who knew that something so simple as getting coffee in the Netherlands could be so different? Here, I compare the Dutch coffee culture to the US. It was culture shock for me when I moved here to say the least! All part of life in Holland.

Cafes are everywhere in the Netherlands and in America, but the relationship that Americans have to coffee is nothing like that here in the Netherlands. It's just a different lifestyle.
