In this 4k driving tour of kerala a.k.a, God's Own Country, we are riding through the hilly roads in Idukki district of kerala, near malankara dam. You can see the lifestyle of people in Kerala in this video and audio and experience a soothing relaxing ride through the misty mountains of kerala.
We started the ride just after a rain in the area so you can call see mostly the road wet and slippery. We syarted our ride from Pachilamkunnu View point , which is a beautiful place to see and have an excellent view of malankara dam and malakara reservoir.
This is really relaxing 4k driving video and will help the viewer to relax and meditate and sleep.

Malankara Dam

Malankara dam is a gravity dam constructed across Muvattupuzha river for irrigation purposes. The dam is constructed to make use of the tail water from the Moolamattom power house. The project is run under the Muvattupuzha Valley Irrigation Project and KSEB. The artificial lake covers an area of around 11 square km.Constructed across the Thodupuzha river which is tributary to the Muvattupuzha river, for the purpose of irrigation, this reservoir is also a tourism spot.This artificial lake is located near to the Thodupuzha – Moolamattom Road covering an area of around 11 square km. The reservoir is ideal for boating and fishing. Unlike the Idukki and Cheruthoni dams, the Malankara dam is open to tourists round the year. Also a park is under construction nearby to the reservoir covering an adjacent 15 acre island.
