These are 3 rice cooker recipes that anyone can make! It is simple and fast to make! I used the Zojirushi electric rice cooker to make all three dishes. The dishes use jasmine rice and sticky rice to show off the versatility of the electric rice cooker. I made Hainanese Chicken Rice, Lao sticky rice, and Taiwanese sticky rice. All these Asian rice dishes are from different countries: China, Taiwan, and Laos!

🍚 Hainanese Chicken Rice
Ingredients
Jeow som ginger sauce
10 garlic cloves
1 inch knob ginger (.7 ounces)
2 tablespoon cilantro stem
15 bird eye chili peppers
2-½ tablespoon sugar
½ cup fish sauce
1-½ whole lime
Sprinkle of msg
2 tablespoon cilantro leaves

Rice Cooker
3 cups jasmine rice
3-1/2 cups chicken stock
½ inch of ginger, thin slices
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 lbs chicken thigh, skin on
4 pandan leaves, tied into a knot
Drizzle of Sesame oil
Scallions and cilantro for garnish

🍚 Lao Sticky Rice
Ingredients
3 cups sticky rice (rice cooker cup)
1-2/3 cup water (rice cooker cup)

🍚 Taiwanese Sticky Rice
Ingredients
3 cups sticky rice (rice cooker cup)
1-½ cup water (rice cooker cup)

⅓ cup vegetable oil
1 large shallots, thinly sliced
6 garlic cloves, minced
6 shiitake mushrooms
1 tablespoon small dried shrimp (soaked in water for 5 mins then drain)
8 ounces pork tenderloin, cut into matchsticks
⅓ cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 teaspoon black vinegar
3 tbsp oyster sauce
1 large carrot, peeled and cut into matchsticks
1/2 cup sliced bamboo, cut into matchsticks
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Fresh cilantro for garnish
