honestly, jang hanseo has never been more pitiful to me due to the most recent eps.
this mf has been tortured by his brother his entire life. he started using drugs as a coping mechanism when he was still young. he lives every day terrified hanseok will kill him. he gets abused daily, has no friends or family to rely on, no way out. his best option is to end up in prison for life for his brother’s crimes.

you can’t help but root/feel for him. yes, he’s flawed, entitled, lacks empathy and he’s rude but i personally can’t hold that against him. he’s so deeply traumatized and i feel like he just needs a proper support system to mature and become a better person. my biggest hope is that he can stay alive, form a bond with the geumga plaza gang and start living a normal life where he’s safe :(

also i wanted to say more at 11:49 like just think how many times hanseok lashed out like that, how often he was terrified of what would happen and had to be on high alert? how long did it take him to develop those reflexes? how many times was he injured before he could?

i want to get this man therapy immediately and i will personally fight the writers if he doesnt make it to the end
