A short walk through a "left to grow" tea garden in Yunnan, where our Year of the Pig Yiwu raw puer comes from. The trees aren't 500 year old gushu, nor are they buried deep in a forest guarded by monks. There's no particularly incredible or interesting story to tell about them.

They've simply been left to do their own thing, without fertilizer, pesticides or pruning. Weeding is done by hand, and picking is limited to spring.

And sometimes that's all it takes to make a difference.
