Trying Different Recipes with Tetsu Kasuya and his Hario Dripper - Part 2 | Coffee with April

This week, we're back road testing the new dripper from Hario: The Tetsu Kasuya Double Stainless Dripper

This brewer has been designed in combination with former World Brewers Cup Champion Test Kasuya and is created to remove the need for a paper filter when brewing coffee.

In part 2 of this video series, we watch Tetsu prepares a cup of coffee using our very own Illubabor filter from Gesha Village in Ethiopia. We then attempt to replicate his recipe here in Copenhagen using the same coffee, grinder and of course brewer.

We had so much fun playing with this brewing method and it’s certainly helped us to become better at brewing coffee. We really recommend trying this brewer if you’re looking for new ways to brew coffee that help you to think about extraction and pouring methods in very different ways.

15g Coffee
250g Beverage Weight
Coarse Grind (12 - Ditting 804)
94 Water Temp
Slow pour for 2 mins
Final fast pour until you reach your beverage weight
Total Brew time of 3-4 mins
