NFP 550 SERIES - Pre-Engineered Hot Oil Systems | HEAT EXCHANGE AND TRANSFER

The Pre-Engineered NFP 550 Series offers the Safe Reliable Performance you need in a made-to-order and modular package that requires no lead time for design, allowing for fast delivery. 

This compact, Industrial Grade hot oil system is designed for operating temperatures up to 550°F. HEAT offers the NFP 550 Series with a variety of flanged heater sizes (40kW-240kW) and with MP HTO Series, Dean Brothers RA Series, or Magnatex* Pumps. Certain models are kept in stock for even faster delivery to your process.

Engineered for NFPA87 compliance and ideally suited for applications in the Aerospace/Defense, Automotive, Consumer/Personal Care, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and Energy Industries, the system includes a closed-coupled centrifugal pump with an air-cooled mechanical seal, electric heater assembly, and UL-listed control panel in a NEMA 4 enclosure, allowing for indoor or outdoor installation of the system into your process. 

NFP 550 Series systems are packaged, skid-wired and assembled on a drip-proof seal-welded plate and channel base with wiring per NFPA70 and NFPA79. Other features include an ASME Code heater chamber, all welded ASME B31.3 piping system, non-wicking cellular glass insulation, in-line strainer, isolation valves, flange spray shield protection, fluid maintenance and sampling connections, and industrial mesh machine guarding. Safety interlocks include high fluid temperature, high heater temperature, low flow, and remote/local E-Stop.

Required Expansion Tanks with a level low-level switch and optional Cooling Modules in various sizes are also available. These are sized to the needs of your application. 

Each NFP 550 Series system is thoroughly tested in our factory during a Hot Functional Test in accordance with HEAT standard practice prior to shipment.
