This video goes over the disassembly and reassembly of the compound rest for a Southbend Lathe Model A 9". The oil used for this part is Valvoline's 30sae 100iso Non-Detergent Oil along with Lithium grease. An adjustable C spanner hook wrench, flat head screw driver, and modified tack puller are all the tools used in this process.
