The LEGO Group’s legendary design team is on the move! Find out where the talented creatives will work when they vacate Innovation House.

A brand-new facility is under construction — Innovation Campus will be a creative hub where the next generation of LEGO sets will be imagined, designed and brought to life. This will be the place where Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel, DC, Fortnite, Super Mario, ONE PIECE, Icons and Ideas sets are created.

Model designers, graphic designers, element designers and concept artists will work together with their marketing colleagues in the new campus. It should have plenty of room for expansion as the company continues to grow and release more LEGO sets every year.

“The LEGO Group is building its massive new Innovation Campus,” says Daniel Konstanski, author of The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks. “This facility is going to be absolutely massive. I can’t even imagine how much brick stock is going to be stored here! Millions upon millions of bricks with plenty of room for expansion as the company grows.”

The LEGO Group CEO Niels B Christiansen and Chief Product and Marketing Officer Julia Goldin marked the beginning of construction in October 2024, so what you see is a year of progress.

The finished Innovation Campus will be 50,000 sqm and house 1,700 creative colleagues including the 700+ designers who create the products that form the core of the company’s business.

There will be in six overlapping modules with up to four floors in each, featuring play zones and atriums and a bustling PlayWay that moves through neighbourhoods and connects people and functions. Similar corridoes were included in the original LEGO Campus facility, but were soon replaced by office space as the company expanded.

By bringing our teams together into one building, Innovation Campus becomes a unique and powerful driver for uniting all aspects of our development process, from groundbreaking physical products to immersive digital experiences and world-class marketing, all under one roof.”
