Bullet Train work begins in Palghar and Thane | Package C3 April 2024 Update | MAHSR Project

The work of Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor, or the Bullet train Corridor being done in Palghar and Thane Districts.

This section falls in Package C3, which is a 135 km package consisting 6 Mountain tunnels, 3 Major River bridges, 6 Rail Crossings in the districts of Thane and Palghar from the state of Maharashtra. It begins from Chainage 21 from Shilphata near Diva and ends at Chainage 156 at Zaroli village on Maharashtra Gujarat Border.

The work has started quite late due to 'Various' obstacles in land Acquisition in the state of Maharashtra, but better late than never, the work pace is significantly faster.
