NQ64 Manchester: Underground arcade and gaming bar moves into HUGE new venue

Born in 2019, NQ64, the arcade bar concept with neon-splattered drinking dens, was quickly welcomed into the fold here in Manchester.

So popular in fact, that in 2021 it opened a second site over on Peter Street, keeping customers happy with game-themed cocktails, craft beers, and of course, plenty of retro arcade games and classic consoles.

The only real criticism it has faced since opening its flagship space on Short Street - the same road shared by Afflecks and pizza favourites Crazy Pedros - was its small proportions. Fast forward to today, and owners at the hit games spot have been able to nip the complaints in the bud by opening a huge new space - and it's literally next door.

It's new home at 12 Tib Street is four times the size of the old one and takes over the site formerly occupied by late-night spot Dive Bar & Grill. The bigger and better venue now has space for 350 covers in its basement, and also features a 'space station' outdoor terrace complete with extra-terrestrial features and a beach-themed cocktail menu.
