As Steward collapses, patients and neighboring hospitals will be hit hardest

As the fallout from Steward Health Care’s financial issues continues at hospitals around the city, Governor Maura Healey has issued a warning to the company. To discuss the impact this has had on local healthcare facilities, Crystal was joined by Greg Wilmot, President and CEO of the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center and Tim Quigley, Senior Vice President of Special Projects for South Shore Health.
Alan Sager, director of the Health Reform Program at Boston University, joined to share why this crisis should not have come as a shock, and how the state can prevent another one like it.
