Experienced, highly skilled drivers come at a premium. Most trucking companies don't pay good wages, as they bid too low on their freight and as a result can't pay the drivers better.
The root of the problem in the first place is the cheap freight.... this brings about a lot of problems.... and unsafe drivers is one of them.
