Yogi Adityanath stated that Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of airports and that the Prime Minister will be inaugurating India's largest airport in Noida. The announcement did not come from the central government or the airport authority, but directly from the Chief Minister during his visit to Singapore. The airport project has been closely monitored by the Chief Minister, who has conducted multiple review visits. The new airport is expected to provide significant relief to travellers in the National Capital Region, particularly those residing in Noida, who currently must travel to Delhi airport. A trial Indigo flight had landed at the airport a couple of months earlier, indicating preparations were in advanced stages.
