My Bawstin Accent (Paht 1)

Описание к видео My Bawstin Accent (Paht 1)

The Boston accent is unique, lively, and full of character, just like the people who speak it. I grew up in Boston and made this video to poke fun at my own Boston accent. This video was made for fun (like a comedy or a satire) and not meant to insult or demean anyone or anything. I was thinking about my dad as it got closer to the anniversary of him going to heaven and I thought he'd get a kick out of this if he was still here. Yes, I really did grow up in Boston. All my relatives on my mother and father's side going back to the early 1600's were from Boston. I lived on Lolly Street (near the Seymour's Ice Cream factory). I also lived on Woodrow Ave and attended St. Mathews School. My dad and his family is from the West End and Charlestown. My mother and her family are all from Dorchester. My grandfather was an electrician and worked on the Callahan Tunnel. My great grandfather was a Boston police officer. My grandmother used to have a newspaper/snack stand in the Park Street station. My aunt used to have a hair dresser shop near Downtown Crossing. My great-grandfather (from Poland) used to own a a number of rentals in the West End. My great-uncle was a lawyer in Boston. The list goes on and on. You can also find me on my website, www.sharenwendy.com, on Facebook and also Reverbnation. Have a wicked awesome day!
