IBPL stands for Isotropy-Based Protection Level. IBPL is a proprietary algorithm developed by GMV for autonomous pseudorange-based user receiver integrity. IBPL has been conceived to protect users without making restrictive hypotheses on the environmental conditions and therefore is valid in situations where other techniques like satellite based augmentation systems are not, for example urban environments.
