Future Glory and Present Suffering
2 Corinthians 4:13-18

Sermon Outline
1./ The Truth of the Resurrection, v. 13-15
The Apostle Paul speaks in faith (quoting Psalm 116) drawing the minds of the Corinthians to the truth of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because Christ is risen all those who believe in Him have the hope of eternal life. What motivates Paul to press on in his faith and service for the Lord is not only his hope of the resurrection but also, his desire to see God glorified.

2./ The Comfort of the Resurrection, v. 16-18
In these verses, Paul declares that the present sufferings of this world, the experience of the outer man, are not worth comparing to the future glory. God's provision and thoughts of eternity renew Paul and all believers day by day.
