Round 3 of the Comeup Xtreme Winch Challenge Series kicked off as darkness fell over the Seeonee Park grounds in Rockhampton, Central Queensland.

17 purpose built winch trucks lined up for Action and were soon climbing the winch walls, breaking parts and for some, driving the walls without a winch.

The night winch stages included two separate runs along the creek bed and into a pair of hill climbs out of the gully. Teams could choose which winch wall to climb first, as long as they climbed both.

The night was called at 10pm with competition due to start again tomorrow morning with another 5 stages of 4wd winching action.
