​About the Speaker
​Dawid Hanak is the Professor of Decarbonisation of Industrial Clusters at the Net Zero Industry Innovation Centre, Teesside University. He has over a decade of experience in process design, techno-economic and life-cycle assessment, and business modelling of sustainable engineering processes. He led the successful delivery of research and commercial projects in industrial decarbonisation that attracted over £4m of external funding. These projects developed carbonate looping technology for high-efficiency low-carbon power generation systems and industrial processes.

Dawid is also a founder of Motivated Academic, where he aspires to equip 1000 researchers & consultants with transformational research skills to solve societal challenges.
