I don’t know exactly when I started feeling this way…
A feeling of complete disconnect.
A feeling that has festered, slowly but surely inside of me. Gnawing in the back of my mind, and clawing at my heart.
A feeling that has put me at the crossroads many times. A looming sense of dread in the pit of my stomach. Feelings of frustration and anger over an unfulfilled desire to be perceived. Feelings of neglect and being othered. I don’t know when I started feeling this way and I don’t think I will ever find a singular answer. All I know is that I feel it.


A feeling I’ve tried to suppress due to fear.
A fear of outcomes that are beyond my control.
A fear that has prevented progression, leaving me lost, trapped in the seemingly endless fog of the more volatile end of the emotional spectrum…a fear that I’ve decided to put to the side.

I don’t know when I started feeling this way.
All I know is that I feel it…and I hope that this project can serve as the blade that cuts through it all and provides a new clearing.
