The Great Deception That Was Halo 5

Nothing about what I, and many thousands of others, had been promised in the marketing material for Halo 5 Guardians was in the game. And I’m strictly talking about the story. What we saw in the trailers and tie-in podcast detailed a story of deception and moral gray areas. What we got in the game essentially boiled down to. “Chief return back to base” “No”. I’ve never seen anything like this or anything since. The marketing material for Halo 5: Guardians lied to the fans, as simple as that. So today, I want to talk about that. What we were expecting vs. what we actually got and potentially figure out why that was.
