The film Moonlight had such a profound effect on me that i had to do something to pay homage. Directed by Barry Jenkins based on the play by Tarell Alvin McCrany, the film was a masterful display of the complexity, the intimacy, and humanity of Black Queer (male) experience. It's rawness, subtlety, & nuance was like nothing that has ever been seen before on screen from an authentic Black perspective.

This series pays homage to Moonlight's groundbreaking existence & success highlighting Black Queer Artists in raw & unapologetic performances using the film's signature lighting.
