How come it's always the bad guys who get all the girls? Do you have to be mean to win a woman's heart? Is despicable behavior synonymous with attractiveness?
So it seems, at least if we were to base truth on the lyrics of “Cigarette End.”
The protagonist in this song consumes his girlfriends like he consumes cigarettes. With each drag, he gradually drains them of their essence.
And when the bastard is done smoking them, he gets rid of them, like cast-off cigarette butts, and what's worse, this addict doesn't even have to go on a hunt. His female admirers are easy prey, standing in line, waiting to be abused. They are cigarettes on standby, ready to be picked from a pack and consumed.
