The NC 500 [North Circuit] includes a Geotrail that explores some of the insanely ancient geology of Scotland, some of the oldest rocks in the world, some of the oldest fossil in the world that date back 1.2 million years as well a period half a billion years ago when continents collided and mountains found in Norway, Greenland Canada and the US were formed and connected.

And some fabulous views in a beautiful part of the world and locations like Smoo Caves and the Old Man of Stoer.
