Dahlya, a Poumai (poula) feature film, was shot in the early 2000s and released privately in the year 2005. Due to certain issues in production and distribution process, the production house couldn’t officially release the film. Very unfortunately it was circulated to the public in DVD format through piracy.

The Barak Echo would like to convey sincere thanks to Mr. Z.K. Stephen for keep a safe copy of Dahlya with great care. The DVDs were all either lost or damaged. It is because of his effort we are all able to watch the film and get a glimpse of what it is like in the early 2000s…
