National Communications Authority launches Dispute Resolution Committee

The National Communications Authority has inaugurated an eight-member committee to help with the speedy resolution of disputes in the electronic communication industry.

This came to light due to several complains from customers of mobile networks, service providers to seek redress from the National Communications Authority’s Dispute Resolution Committee.

The board chairman of National Communications Authority Okatakyie Ababio Boakye Danquah II, who swore the members into office at the headquarters of NCA in Accra in his address said the Committee which also has a statutory tenure of office would use avenues outside the adversorial court system to amicably solve disputes using industry knowledge and the rudiments of businesses as well as the needs of stakeholders.
