Part 1(   • Stihl MS290 Rebuild: MS390 Conversion...  ): In this video I start the tear down process. I break down the chainsaw down to the piston to discover that internal engine damage has occurred. The piston is severely damaged.
Part 2(   • Stihl MS290 Rebuild: MS390 Conversion...  ): In this video I complete the remainder of the engine tear down. I find additional components damaged and the culprit of the engine failure. I make a list of what is required to rebuild and place my order.
Part 3(   • Stihl MS290 Rebuild: MS390 Conversion...  ): In this video I install the new complete engine assembly. During assembly I encounter a few minor issues. To finish it off I fire up this newly rebuilt chainsaw!
