Brutalismus 3000 at Knockdown Center

In April, Knockdown Center in Queens hosted Brutalismus 3000, the sleek, iconoclastic techno dyad from southern Germany. Through Daldas’ megaphonic yelps and Zeitner’s cybernetic sound design, tracks like “No Sex With Cops” and “GEWALT GEWALT” find a safe home in the sleazy tendrils of NYC’s club scene. As they debuted head-pounding new music, the German duo showcased their ability to control an entire room with their hellish sound palette.
